How Do Some People Sleep At Night???
The Jolly Sailor pub in Fleetwood, one of the pubs belonging to the Punch Taverns Group contacted us and told us that they hold fundraising events each month for different local causes and said they would like to add Hope to it’s list.
We went to visit the landlord Jason & his partner Carl who were very enthusiastic about fundraising and told us that the fundraising month for Hope would be from the 13th September, he asked if we had leaflets and collection boxes, we also left him a banner and 8 T-shirts that had been donated by local companies, the banner was very impressive.
Since October we have been trying to contact both Jason & Carl but kept getting told neither were available.
Last night we decided to pay the Jolly Sailor a visit on arrival we were told that they had left without telling anyone taking with them the proceeds of the charity collections which included HELP FOR HEROES !!
What despicable people
We of course will be contacting the company involved and the police to report the theft of our banner, t-shirts and collection boxes, we are concerned they may use our things to obtain money fraudulently.
